October is iWalk Month

"iWalk" - That's right, International Walk to School Month!

Why? Well, iWalk is way more than putting your runners on and taking the kids for a leisurely walk to school. It provides a valuable opportunity for education through experience that promotes long lasting community change throughout the world.

Eggs Come from Cows?

It’s not that uncommon for some people to think eggs are “dairy”, which would suggest that eggs are part of the Milk and Alternatives food group. Not an irrational thought when you consider eggs are often found in the dairy case. This came up again recently when I was talking food with my buddy Pete. He was casually asking about calcium and sources, for himself and his wife (we have to talk about something while the game is loading.)
