It used to be simple. The only local “coffee shop” was a seedy diner in the mall that served stale coffee in a stained mug. Don’t get me wrong, I happily sat there after school with friends while in high school. But now, flash forward almost (gulp) 20 years, and there seems to be a designer coffee shop on every block.

It’s no secret that fall is here and winter is nearing. To prevent the winter blues and stay motivated, I always do physical activities I enjoy, which includes indoor rock climbing.

This year, I went back to work when my son was eight months old. I knew about the immense health benefits and importance of breastfeeding and I value the special relationship that we have over breastfeeding. While I was nervous about going back to work, I knew that it didn’t need to change our breastfeeding relationship.
